Who am I in the Art World?

2020

I am riding along on a silver and very elegant skateboard. I had been fearless and took it from a former cultural official who wielded a lot of power in the past. Doing pirouettes, I slide through the streets of Mexico City’s historic downtown. On the way, I ran into those unique characters who conceived the idea of downtown as being the navel of culture in our country. The cathedral appears majestic, enthroned like a queen, surrounded by the buildings that hold the power in this country: The National Palace, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the Supreme Court of Justice.

The carved stone is imposing, baroque. It is night. I stand in front of the Ministry of Finance building, I leave the skateboard on the floor, I manage to get a ladder and prop it up against the building, just below the windows with the intention of going inside to look for money and finally solve the financial problems that afflict the cultural sector in my country.
