The Button of Memory

2022

I met the protagonist wearing her always tight Parma Chanel pink dress. Years later, while I was looking to find a lost object, I stumbled across a riddle enigma she had left me.

She turned her Chanel into two pieces. Not before long, the neck bared no soul. Sleeveless. An obsessive urge to section every single millimeter of fabric, she ripped, pulled and unthreaded.  Cutting unstoppable.

Only one untouched stitch remained.

The mystery was to find the impossible piece to cut.

Starting from where she left off, from that point on, I began the reverse process. She handed me a key to open the chest where she is still, without moving. She is still there integral, small, ethereal, whole, and that is the way to denounce Alzheimers.
