The factories distill flowers and from the chimneys steam now emerges with the fragrance of all the flowers that you grew in me.

The factories distill flowers is part of a project based on my relationship with my own family members, taking as a starting point dreams and childhood memories.

Factory environments recurrently plague my dreams, and although, at present, I have no relationship with those environments, the issues related to them constantly appear. The encounters that the work environment of a factory creates continue to manifest themselves, in some way or another, in my daily work.

Garden and factory environments, apparently opposites, amalgamate the relationship between my father and me, between my dreams and my present, an apparent opposition, such as the warm yellow of the flowers and the cold blue of the sky. These colors that unite us while I sleep are dedicated to him, who despite his transit, continues to feed all the dreams that I currently have.
